Americans everywhere are preparing for a long weekend in observance of Presidents Day, and mail clerks around the force are no exception. Below is the Sandboxx print schedule that may impact the delivery of your letter, as well as the base mailroom closures.
Note: this schedule is subject to change, but is based on the latest information that has been provided to us by the mailrooms on base.

Fort Jackson, Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Moore and Fort Sill will be closed Friday, February 14th and Monday, February 17th. The last day to submit your letter for delivery before the holiday is Wednesday, February 12th by 5PM EST.

Marine Corps basic training mailroom closures vary by base. The mail rooms at QT & PI will resume their normal duties on Tuesday, February 18th. SD mailroom will resume on Wednesday, February 19th.

San Diego’s mailroom will be closed Monday, February 17th through Tuesday, February 18th. The last day for delivery before the holiday is Thursday, February 13th at 5PM EST.
Letters sent after February 13 at 5PM will be delivered on February 19th.
Quantico’s mailroom will be closed Monday, February 17th. The last day for delivery before the holiday is Thursday, February 13th at 5PM EST.
Letters sent after February 13 at 5PM, but before 4:30PM EST on February 14th will be delivered on February 18th.
